Owls and full moons are a match made in heaven to me. I love Japanese design and this simple design with the textures of the pine tree branches with the dark navy background has a definite Japanese feel to it.
Did you know Owls don’t call Twit-Twoo? The male Owl makes a low ‘hoohooo’ and the female replies with the sharper 'kewick'. You are more likely to hear Tawny Owls in Autumn and Winter in the UK when they establish and protect their territories.

Please note: I choose my maps because of their age and rich, varied colouring. Areas on maps that are hilly have a range of warmer brown colours. The flatter areas in the UK have a greener colouration. So each print is completely unique!
