Intrinsically linked to the coast, Gulls are probably the most numerous and recognisable of all our British seabirds. This design captures their striking silhouettes both on the ground and in flight. The background is a plain colour with a map silhouette overlayed. These bespoke map prints can be personalised with specific maps & colours, see below.
In winter, Gulls can often be seen much further inland, especially in our rural landscapes searching for food. So this print is excellent for both coastal maps and inland locations.

This bespoke map design can be tailored with a vintage UK map of your choice and a selection of colours for the background. We can also give the piece a name and write it on the mount for you. All prints are sent with a hand-signed Ivory mount.
Please let us know which map you would like us to use. We cannot guarantee we will have the map but will do our best to source one if not. It’s best to drop us a line to ask before ordering.
Our maps are chosen for their age and rich, varied colouring. Areas on maps that are hilly have a range of warmer brown colours. The flatter areas in the UK have a greener colouration. So each print is completely unique! Flatter locations suit the darker coloured backgrounds.
