This striking but elegant summer visitor, the Yellow Wagtail makes a beautiful silhouette as it searches for food amongst the ears of wheat. These birds have reduced dramatically in numbers over the years, keep your eyes peeled for them in the summer months in rural areas with their bright yellow plumage and characteristic tail wagging, they didn’t get the name for no reason.

The Skylark has an unmistakable song, rising up to 300m almost vertically whilst singing like it’s being drawn up on invisible string. This mounted Curlew map print celebrates this special bird with a most magnificent and memorable feature - its long curved beak. These birds live in both moorland, coastal and wetland environments, often coming inland to breed. Its beak is the means to dig under the sand or earth to find food. A bird, like many others, sadly in decline in the UK.

Owls and full moons are a match made in heaven to me. I love Japanese design and this simple design with the textures of the pine tree branches with the dark navy background has a definite Japanese feel to it.
