The Gannet - a large and strikingly beautiful seabird is easy to identify with its bright white plumage, black wing tips and soft yellow heads. This pair have just returned to their annual breeding site and are lovingly preening each other’s feathers.
The silhouette is created with a vintage map and has a solid colour background. All our bespoke map prints can be tailored with specific maps and colours, see below.

This bespoke map design can be tailored with a vintage UK map of your choice and a selection of colours for the background. We can also give the piece a name and write it on the mount for you. All prints are sent with a hand-signed Ivory mount.
Please let us know which map you would like us to use. We cannot guarantee we will have the map but will do our best to source one if not. It’s best to drop us a line to ask before ordering.
Our maps are chosen for their age and rich, varied colouring. Areas on maps that are hilly have a range of warmer brown colours. The flatter areas in the UK have a greener colouration. So each print is completely unique! Flatter locations suit the darker coloured backgrounds.
